System Restore Problems
I'm having a new hardware issue with a Xbox 360 controller. I've been advised to run a system restore, but every time I do, after my computer restarts it tells me it couldn't be completed successfully and to try again. Are there common solutions to this problem? Or am I SOL here? :[

I'm running 32bit Vista. If any more info is needed, let me know.

Some changes to the system are irreversible. In those cases, System Restore won't work. Try it from the DVD.
