Solved: spell checker
hello,
is there another application like "IESpell", which is compatible with IE7 and vista premium?

IE Spell works fine in Vista.

Also the spell checker with Google bar works great.

Thanks all.

To Rich-M,
yeah, IE spell worked years for me but lately it gives me a error message. It check spellings OK but, soon after it says "IE spell-failed to save window placement, failed to create reg key"

Are you aware that Firefox has built in spellcheck and that works in any OS including even Linux?

i would really like to stick to IE.
i know i am going bit of off topic here now....but is there a way to stop getting that error message? [which i mentioned in my earlier post]

When you install IESpell, it helps to install "As Administrator". Right click the EXE file ans select "Run As Administrator".

hi,
i just did that and sorry to say i still get the error msg. i thought this error started after i installed SP 1? [not sure though]
now i get this error as well: "the system cannot find the file specified"

Iv'e been struggling with that message all week-end failed to get reg key etc,, will be wathing this thread with interest (SP1 not installed here)

It does NOT work for me either. This file is only about 600 KB were the other versions I have are over 2000 KB
