Is there a Vista Service Pack available?
I thought I've seen it mentioned somewhere. I checked Windows Update and nothing.

Yes, it is available, but not to everyone, it seems. I am still waiting for an updated Conexant audio driver from HP, without which I can not install SP1 (Vista has not yet offered the SP1 through automatic updates for my laptop, unlike the SP3 for XP which I installed on my desktop the other day).

Service Pack 1 for Vista is now available for everyone, including those with multiple languages.

I beg to differ. SP1 is not available to the computers which have drivers not quite compatible with SP1 (see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948343) . HP is still to to provide drivers for Conexant, and does not give any indication as to when the updated driver will be available for Conexant. Quite disappointing, I must say, though not sure what I am missing by not having SP1.
