hi,
i have this weird problem with the desktop, it wont load but explorer.exe is working fine otherwise.
restarting wont help, neither would closing explorer.exe through task manager and reloading it.
i see nothing on the desktop but when i open the folder through explorer everything is there.
i cant even left click and "draw" (select) a rectangle (cant think of another way to describe it).

its driving me crazy any help is appreciated....

What version of Vista is it? Did you build the computer or is it a computer from Dell, HP, etc.?

hi,
the computer is my built and and im using vista ultimate.
the comp specs are: E6750 with 2 gb ram.

and show desktop is showing me the desktop with no icons, apparently "stuck"
