Can I Delete??????????
Running vista here, if I go to search on the start menu and type in mspaint search results come up with indexed files ie: all email document etc. all of my email deleted is there from the day I purchased this laptop HP Is there anyway to delete all this stored up garbage I'd really like to unload including some of the other files?? thanks for any responses,
as usual must be old age!!

Have you deleted items for the "Deleted Folder"?
Or you can set things to empty the deleted folder on exit within the "Options, Advance tab and then the Maintenance button near the bottom right. Add a check mark in the top box.

deleted folder empty and in the indexed location files there is no buttons or delete option available

You need to re-index your search files.
I do NOT use the INDEX, so I do not have this issue.
