I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with Vista Home Premium. 1.80GHz and 894 mb of Ram.
32 bit.

My problem is with my HP Photosmart D5069 printer. It installed and prints fine but every time I start up the computer it reinstalls the printer. so that I have copies of the printer.

Ocassionally it will reinstall after closing out a program.

Is this a Vista issue or an HP issue and how can I fix it?

You might wanna go out to HP's website and see if they have a newer driver. More than likely, if you used the disk that came with the printer, there is a newer driver out there.

Along with checking for the new driver; have you removed the Windows temp files lately?

The driver has been updated,removing the temp files seems to have done the trick!!!
