really need help, start menu is blank, taskbar freezes and i cant create a folder!
All of a sudden i signed onto my account on our family computer ( we are running vista home premium) i always fix our computer problems if we have one, but this one has stumped me. I cant figure it out. All of a sudden the start menu went blank, no icons showed up, none of the recently used icons or the icons ive pinned to the start menu http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3072/...4004222e_o.jpg
Also the taskbar freezes whenever i switch accounts. And to top off the list of problems I cant create a new folder without the explorer crashing. The only way i can temporarily fix the taskbar is if i go into task manager and kill and restart the explorer. Please help fix this!

Review the following:

Explorer crashing may be a different issue; have you run up to date virus and spyware scans?

System Restore may fix all.
