Trouble with SP1 install (surprise, surprise)
I've been able to install SP1 on my desktop pretty easily, just downloaded and installed. My laptop is another matter. I've installed all of the updates and have downloaded SP1. The problem is that I can't get my Laptop to install. It just gives me an error message that it could not install. Before, it had just crashed, I guess this is progress.

P.S. If I ever meet Bill Gates, I'll kick him square in the huevos.

Have you checked the OEM web site for updates there?
Microsoft does NOT provide ALL the required drivers and software for every make of machines.
