Solved: Internet explorer 7 problem
Recently my desktop with Vista Home started having an IE7 problem. When I open IE7 I have one of the tabs set to open Yahoo news. This used to work fine and still works on my laptop with same OS and work pc with XP. But on this pc the spinning circle showing that the page is loading never stops on the news tab. Also you cannot point to a story and get a thumb nail description. Annoying minor problem but I'm not sure where to look to fix it.

Thanks for any help

Dave

Optimize the browser ( Follow steps from http://computers-quickfixes.blogspot.com/)

and re-register the dll files from varun.notlong.com.

and run antispyware if needed.

Check for homepage on IE tools--internet--options --general tab.
