Can My PC run vista???
Hello...

Can someone help me check if my pc can run Windows Vista (preferrably Ultimate/Home Premium) ???

I've tried the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor but i don't know if i should trust it, because alot of people have said with 1G of ram its gonna lag ALOT!!!

Here are some of my computer specs:

Windows XP Professional
Radeon 9250 (it has a 1.4 pixel shader, but sometimes i can play games that have high video card requirements)
1GB of Ram
100 GB's of free space
32 bit processor
Directx 9 (March 2008)
SoundMAX digital audio version : 5.12.0001.5410
3.2 GHZ

Plz someone help me cuz i don't wanna get Vista and then find out it will run *sht* on my PC!!!

I don't think your vid card is up for it. Vista can use 1+gb at idle or just surfing. You really do need 2 gb.

If you read some of the posts on here you'll see Vista needs 2 gb ram to run smoothly. M$ advisor will say it runs on 1 gb, but it's almost unbearable.
The days of waiting for things to load are gone. Newer computers with the proper hardware make computing almost instantaneous.
