RunDLL Error During Windows Update *HALP*
Hey folks,

Oh boy... the trouble begins...

Lol, j/k. So far I am loving Vista, but I just am curious about what happened a moment ago.

Ok, I was using Windows Update and files were being downloaded and installed and toward the end of the installation of the updates, 3... that's right... THREE windows popped up and they all 3 said the exact same message:

RunDLL
Error in NVCPL.DLL
Missing entry:NvCplRestorePersistence

Do any of you folks know what this means exactly?

I was wondering if maybe it had something to do with the nVidia update I downloaded/installed because of the "Nv... " on there, but I am not sure exactly. Nothing really bad happened as far as I know when these messages popped up. The files finished downloading and installing just fine... these messages simply alarmed me quite a bit and I wanted to make sure it wasn't anything really serious like a wicked virus or anything and if I can fix the problem in some way. Also, I remember an error similar to this or maybe the exact same error from Windows XP... hmmm... at any rate...

If anyone can assist me with this problem or if they know any information about it I would really appreciate it.

Thanks a lot folks.

BTW I am on 64-Bit Vista.
