Vista SP1 Windows Update
Using Vista Home Premium on an HP Laptop

A couple of weeks ago the Windows update prompted me to download SP1. After downloading the software, it informed me that it may take a few hours to update. Since I didn't have the time I canceled, figuring I could do it when I had more time. But it never did. Now when I check for updates SP1 never get updated to be installed.

I looked at the history file and it says error 4C7. Tried researching that issue to no avail.

Not sure why Windows Update will not recognize that the SP1 is not installed.

Any ideas?

Thanks
