Start bar gone?
I have a vista laptop and ive had it since january but now the start bar is gone and so is the background and my computer is running slow I have scanned my computer and I dont think it is a virus

any ideas anyone?

Is there a permanent fix to that problem? I have had the same problem since around the same time and have to run explorer everytime I start up....

You scanned for virus, but before trying the following you should also scan for spyware.

SuperAntiSpyware Free Version

If you have the Vista DVD, insert it - don't let it auto-start - click the Start Orb - type
sfc /scannow - this will replace corrupted or missing system files.

If no go, you may have to run a repair install.

Your computer Infected by a trojon Horse which called Virtumonde
please instal Trojon Remover 6.6.9 ver it will remove then restar and follow the instruction as gives by TR programe
I hope your problem will be solved
I had the same suituation at my PC
