Windows Vista & Laptop Battery Indicator
Hello All,

I have a Gateway MT6459 Laptop and it is running Windows Vista. I am wondering if it is possible to have it only display the battery charge when it is low, or give me some other indicator that the battery is low. When I remove the battery indicator from the taskbar (because I hate things being on the taskbar all the time), I get no indication that my battery is running low until the thing dies!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

TreyDawg

The only other option that you could use would be to get a battery indicator for the Vista sidebar (there are plenty of them). Otherwise you have to use the indicator on the taskbar. Just an FYI it leaves a very small memory footprint and really doesn't affect anything in a negative manner so I would recommend keeping it on the sidebar.

I just don't like clutter is all. I'm weird, and know it. But I guess I'll just leave it. You're right it doesn't really hurt anything.
