Solved: Changes to desktop after avg install
After an unsuccessful try at installing AVG 8 free over AVG 7.5 free, I booted into safe mode to uninstall 7.5 then rebooted into safe mode again to install 8. When I again rebooted in regular mode, my husband's taskbar and sidebar had changed to all white, instead of the usual black taskbar and slightly shaded sidebar. Can anyone tell me how to get it back to it's normal Vista look? He has the Vista Basic that came on his computer. I r-e-a-l-l-y hate it.

Thanks
Peg

Right click the desktop anywhere and choose personalize, then open Windows Color and Appearance and you will see how.
