Bizarre task bar question
1) the fact that this forum is here cheers me immensely.
2) my problem is one that if I had gotten it when I worked on a help desk many years ago, I would have lost my mind. apologies in advance.

I am having task bar issues. My task bar properties shows the following items as checked:
Lock the taskbar
Keep the task bar on top
Groups similar
Show quick launch

With any app that I run, the task bar complies with all of these rules. Except IE. When IE is up (like now), there is no task bar. ANY other window shows a task bar on top of the window. I have taken my cursor to the very bottom, but nothing happens. It is not hidden below.

I have gone to help, google, microsoft, you name it. I am at a loss.

thanks,
Anna

Hit the "F11" key to get put of the Full screen mode!

Can you go to the corner of the browser on the bottom and where you see a double arrow and move it in slightly to expose the task bar?

My IE does this too. When I need to, I just hit the Windows key (the logo key) and my start menu and task bar will show. Hit it again or click on the IE screen and it goes back off. Annoying but it works.

Zhizara,
You are in the "Full Screen" mode, hit the "F11" key and see what happens.

Thanks, I tried F11 to get back my taskbar and it doesn't help. I don't mind, I like to be able to read as much of the page as possible, and when I decide to use my taskbar, it's only a keystroke away. I appreciate your input, keep up the good work.
