Post Firefox Freezes Vista
Hi, I’ve been having this problem for some time. The screen freezes and the music coming through the speakers loops in a stutter.
It mainly happens with both Firefox versions 2 and 3, usually (so I think) on a page with (intense/badly written) Java Script.

It has also recently happened when I’m configuring my Xbox to link using Media Center during the automatic step.

I believe this might be a Hardware problem, but I don't know what else to try. I have tried diagnostics on my memory as well as increasing my Page File size and disconnecting various USB devices.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Alasdair

Are you on 32-bit or 64-bit Vista?

Try pulling a stick of RAM out. I'm not really sure if having more than ~3GB RAM can effect the stability of programs in Vista on 32-bit, but it's worth a try.
