Exclamation Unable to download any drivers or programs
Hi, hope somebody can help! I am running a clean install of Vista Home Premium on a custom built PC. I am unable to download any driver files or other software, even from Microsoft. I have attempted to download drib#vers from Nvidia, soundblaster, and have also attempted to install Windows Live Messenger and Silverlight. I encounter the same problem in each case; The file downloads and then I am told that the file does not have a valid digital signature and do I wish to run? I click run but then get a message saying the program 'has stopped working. A problem causded the program to stop working correctly.' I have tried running as administrator and disabling UAC and all firewalls/antivirus to no avail. Please help!!

Has this always done this, as it appears that you have a new home built machine?

Well machine not built by me, bought without OS and custom built. has to reinstall Vista as I was unable to install service pack 1. think it has been since then as I installed service pack before drivers. Would rather not reinstall again unless 100% necessary!! thanks again!
