"Group Policy Client failed to start
After several months of stable Vista Vista Business edition useage on my Vaio SZ-650 laptop, I now get the following error pop-up from the System Tray after every bootup:

"The Group Policy Client service failed to start"

I do not recall any recent system/driver changes. I am on a local Domain network at work. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Vista Event Viewer lists the following:
-The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
-Details:

I should mention the following associated error in Event Viewer:

Certificate Services Client failed to register Group Policy notifications. Error code: 2147944153.

However, this error is listed daily for a couple months
