exporer.exe using 100% accessing profile
Hi,

I'm running Vista on a Pentium Core 2 Duo (in a VMWare virtual machine). I frequently get explorer.exe using most or all of the CPU, especially when I first boot up. This can last for 1/2 an hour or more.

I've run Process Monitor on it, and it seems to be in a loop creating one or two files in my profile in Network Shortcuts\My Web Sites on MSN. The output from Process Monitor seems to be an endlessly repeating loop - I've attached a text file with one loop of this, taken from Process Explorer. I logged several million events in a few minutes. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this, and how to get it to stop? Killing and restarting explorer seems to stop it temporarily, but it it seems to start back doing this again eventually.
