Documents folder opens on startup, explorer.exe doesn't run.
Hello,

When I boot into my Vista Home Premium SP1 computer, instead of being greeted by my desktop, instead my Documents folder appears on a black screen and explorer.exe does not run. Does anybody know what could be causing this?

Just incase, here is a hijackthis log: http://stuff.nilved.net/hijackthis.txt

Thanks!

edit I'm not sure if this should have been posted in the Vista forums or another place. If it should have been somewhere else, please move it!

I'm sorry, I hate to bump my own thread, but it's very important this is solved.

I actually found out my computer had a trojan and thus continued this thread in the malware forum: http://forums.techguy.org/malware-re...t-working.html

I'm using an LG R405 laptop, avast! is my antivirus and Windows Defender in my spyware scanner.
