partitioning under vista
Hi Guys,

I´m trying to create a new partition under vista on my dell laptop.
10 GB are reserved for dell restore, my main partition containing windows vista is 100 GB.

When I try to create a new partition (for installing linux ubuntu), the vista partition programme tells me there are only 7 GB available for reducing the size of partition C.

Does that mean that my new partition can only be 7 GB large? I have available disc space of 50 GB on drive C. Why can I only use 7 GB to create a new partition?

Thx for Help!
