Invalid key after fresh install
On a Toshiba Satellite laptop that came with Vista Home Premium from Best Buy, I added extra 1gb of RAM and replaced the hard drive with a 160gb one. During installation of Home Premium, I enter the license key that's on the bottom of the laptop, but I get a message saying the key is not valid despite the fact that the key came with the laptop. Is it possible that the hardware change caused the key not to be valid? How do I fix this? Can I get another key from Microsoft?

Toshiba Restore disk shouldn't require coa, you must have been using wrong dvd.
If you used something like this, you should have had software with the drive or could download it from the drive mfgr site to clone the drive to another drive.
