WINDOWS/ADOBE-problems w/ printing
I have a HP C3180 Printer installed to my laptop w/ Windows VISTA. When I go to Documents or a Windows program and attempt to print, I get a message that says I need to install a printer. There is NOT a problem when I print something directly off the Internet. I did not have this problem originally. Maybe I changed something in error to cause this? Please help. I need to print documents that I create for work. THANK YOU. Sue

I had a similar problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader a few months ago; my solution was to remove Reader and then install it again.

But you are having the same problem with multiple applications? Which ones?

Thank you for your response. When I go to my Documents and when I go to Microsoft Works, if I try to print anything, I get a message telling me that I need to install a printer before I can proceed. My printer really is only working for things I print off the internet. Thank You.

How is this printer connected to the laptop?

Microsoft Works seems to have a lot of problems, including with printers. Search for more "Microsoft Works printer" articles, unless this one happens to help: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/win/19035

I suggest you'd be better off ditching Works and getting something like the OpenOffice suite: http://www.openoffice.org/
