Solved: Start up issue
This morning my computer froze while I was browsing and had to press the power button to turn it off. When turned it back on it gave me a corrupt file error at the login screen: "winlogon.exe and wininit were corrupted. as i typed my password the computer restarted, did it a few times not letting me log on, until i went to system restore and used the start up recovery. Now when i turn on the computer all it does is go to the "Starting Windows Vista" screen and after that it goes black and doesnt let me do anything. When i try to use the system restore it doesnt let me.
All help would be apreciated. Thank you.

Did you run chkdsk /f on your drives from the Vista DVD? Be sure to try Startup Repair more than once.
