urlomon.dll error on Startup
Hello hope someone can help

I am running Vista on my laptop and when i start it up i get an Urlmon.dll error straight away it says it can't find urlmon.dll and then everything else wont load it is making my life a misery - i dont know if it is a virus or just a vista issue - if anyone can help i would be very greatful

If you have your Vista CD's, do a repair install.

Thanks but unfortunately it was pre installed and i dont have the CD's - any other ideas?

There's nothing else that will fix it that I know of. If you can borrow a Vista CD from a friend, it will probably work too.

Feels like driver errors...installed any drivers recently or Windows Update drivers?
If you can get into safe mode, there are options on the same screen for "Last known good configuration" you could try and even system restore.
