Question No Sound Issue
Hi - am trying to figure out why my Sony Vaio laptop (Vista O/S) won't play sound. All drivers are updated, sound card is installed & functioning, all volume controls are on (i think I've checked them all...) so not sure what the issue is...

Any suggestions? thanks. Vivian

Did you down load and install a sound driver from Microsoft?

If so, you need to get them from Sony. The ones from MS may not be the newest ones.

You stated that "All drivers are updated", but did NOT identify the source of your checking.
