Exclamation XP won't let me FIX Vista Setup DVD?
Hi all,
I've posted on this earlier, but I've made some progress.
The Vista Setup DVD has its folders - such as SOURCES, BOOT and stuff.
When I load the setup, it says winsetup.dll is corrupt - which it is, when I tried to open it with a DLL opener, and it said error.

So I amazingly found a winsetup.dll file off the internet - same file size. I try to paste it onto the CD and it says if i want to overwrite - I say yes. Then Windows pops up with this error:

Windows does not support this CD-R format. Please try another disc.

Anyone know how to fix this? It's a UDF format obviously, and its a DVD.
Thanks

I dunno, the guy I bought it off made me a backup copy of Vista.
Don't worry, I've nearly fixed it, my friend is givin me a non-corrupt install.wim - im up to installing it.

That would be illegal. Closing thread, review forum rules. Thanks.
