Hi,
I just recently registered for the TSG Forums because of a serious problem with my computer.
I own a Sony Vaio laptop model VGN-CR220E with 2 gigs of RAM and an Intel Core Duo processor. My operating system was Windows Vista, which came installed when I bought the laptop only like 8 months ago.
One day, a message popped up saying the Windows licence expired, and a after a few days, the computer randomly started rebooting after receiving that message. After research I found out hte source was SP1 for Vista, so I uninstalled it.
Because of the uninstallation, something messed up in the core files, and I could start my computer because of a BSOD. So then I tried System Repair with my Vista dvd, and when that didnt work, I just reinstalled Vista all over again.
Now it's pretty much normal, but I keep getting a BSOD while just using my laptop. It says:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUALand when I restart and check out what hte problem is, Windows cannot solve it on its own, but it provided me with the files:
Mini071208.dmp (which i know is a minidump)
sysdata.xml
version.txt
With these files, can someone please help? Im tired of all these problems. Thank You.
