Try this:

In Device Manager, view hidden devices. In the list of USB devices, delete any devices that are greyed out. Reboot.

What doesn't work? The link? The follow through? The result? You need to remember that we can't see what you are seeing. The more info, the better

I was asking for you to elaborate on your first post....to make a long story short.

Can you tell us more about the history behind this problem? When it started? What you were doing last when these other devices worked in the USB ports?

If you go to device manager, are there any exclamation marks on any of the USB ports?

no exclamations and the problem started about 2 months ago..my sister came to me saying when she went to plug ur mp3 player in the system wouldnt recognize it..so im like ok ...then i i plugged in my camera and it worked for like a week then it stopped working as well.she doesnt know anything about computers so she definitely didnt do anything wrong..and as for me i havent done anything up until these last 2 weeks..ive been through at least 20 different tutorials on how to fix this and nothing has worked..even if it cant be fixed this way i just need to know what i need to get or what cause i really need my ports to work..
