Sound skipping on all media players
Once in a while (usually every couple hours), my computer starts skipping over any sound output--music, youtube, movies, random windows sounds, etc.

When I restart my system the problem is fixed (temporarily).

On another forum I read that iTunes may be the prob. because of its RAM-hungry attitude, so I D/L WinAmp but got the same issue. Even the lightest weight media player that i know of,VLC, skips as well.

At other times media players do not function at all--that is, when i click on a file it opens in iTunes, VLC, or whatever, but the song progress bar stays at 0:00 and no sound comes out. Even on the YouTube does the same.

Anybody know what's going on here?
