I have lost the whole drag and drop functionality (D&D) in Vista. That means I cannot drag and drop files, tabs (within firefox), elements in the task bar... Nothing in any program I have tried. To be more accurate with the description, it begins for about .1 seconds and then it disappears, nothing gets moved. Also, it seems to work after I start up the system, but for a few moments.

The sequence of relevant events (as far I can think in) is:

I installed StExBar (an enhancer for windows explorer). Lost D&D. Uninstalled StExBar. Recovered D&D (this might not be completely true because as commented above I have D&D after start up for a while, so I cannot be completely sure about this point) but lost the possibility to hide the menu bar in explorer. Removed an entry from the registry (check this website to find out which

to be able to hide the menu bar. Success on this last. Installed QT Tab bar (great functionality. If it is not the cause of my problem, a must application). Lost D&D.

I love this last application so I wanted to check if someone knows how to solve this problem without uninstalling the app. Anyway,it sounds weird, and after googling it I did not find many cases of this happenning and no solution at all.
