Solved: Adobe Reader - 1303 Install Error - Vista Home Premium
I'm getting this error on installation of Adobe Reader. It tells me to run the installation in Administrator mode. I've followed many Google threads and as best I can tell, all advise to "unhide" the Administrator login (which I have done with net user administrator /active:yes) and then restart and login as the Administrator and do the install.

I have done that and still get the 1303 error telling me to run as Administrator.

I have given full rights to c:Application Data\Adobe, c:\Users\All Users\Adobe and c:\Users\All Users\NOS.

I have done everything with exception of tinkering with UAC, which I really don't want to get into.

Anybody solved this yet? (I have searched TSG and not able to find anything).

Thanks

I'm marking this solved, but it isn't. I've got better things to do. I can live with Adobe 8 for quite a while I'm sure.
