I have a really weird problem with Vista Ultimate 64-bit edition.
I had XP installed and i just inserted the vista dvd, rebooted the system and installed the new OS on a separate partition on my RAID1 array (the array has 3 partitions XP, Vista, Games). And everything worked like a dream, i didnt have a single problem with drivers or detection of the array. And then i noticed, Vista didnt see the 3 extra SATA2 drives i had.
So to fix that problem i thought maybe Nvidias new raid/storage drivers would help (ASUS Striker mobo). I installed them, with the nvidia storage manager, and when i rebooted the nvidia software announced that it had found 3 new hdd. But when i tried to get them to work, the nvidia software only gave me a choice to create a new array out of these discs. Well i didnt want to because all my data is on those drives.
So thats where it ended, i see the drives in nvidia hdd manager but cant initialize them without creating a new array. And vista still shows nothing, in device manager and in disk management.
Help.
