Unhappy Vista trainwreck case HELP!
I need some serious help people. I tried to install a new theme and ended up ****ing up my computer bigtime. I cant get past the login screen to explorer, I cant bring up the task manager (in any way, shape or form). and I cant boot it in safe mode (ive tried like ten times). I know that all I need to do is to reinstall vista, but I cant boot it off the disk. Help, please. Ive only had this pc for three weeks and ive already got a ton of things on it.

heres what i did:
I changed three files name (as per instruction) and then restarted. those files were browseui.dll, ieframe.dll and shell32.dll, each of them i changed into a .bak file, now nothing works. I dont know what to do, and I really dont want to reboot my computer. somebody please help. Ive got a Dell XPS 630 with windows vista premium.

It would help if you were to tell use what this "Theme" was and where you got it?
This way we can go to the source and see things that you may have missed.

thats not the problem, theme or no theme i cant do anything. i dont care about the theme I just want my computer back. the theme itself had no effect on the pc, I messed it up by renaming critical files and now i cant fix it.

All I need, is a solution to this problem, given the scenario stated in my first post, how would I reinstall windows/boot it in safe mode?

cannot book
I would suggest that you pull the hard drive and find a friend with a system that you can install the drive as a secondary, Then boot his system and rename the files back.
