MBR Fix
Hey all! I have decided to get rid of my Ubuntu partition on my hard drive and I need to figure out how to fix/repair the MBR because the Grub dual boot will yell at me if I just out and out delete the linux partition. I have found that the easiest way to do this is to just run a FIXMBR from the windows install disk, but I don't have a vista install disk (it came pre-loaded on my HP laptop). So I was wondering if an XP install disk FIXMBR would fix the problem just as well, or if you guys had a better solution than this. Thanks for the help!

Powerquest who made partition magic used to have a MBR fix utility, but their owned by Symantec now. Check their software suite.
