I'd like to get a few things to see if any problems evident.

Dump of Event Viewer app & system logs - bring up elevated admin cmd/DOS prompt -
Code:
copy %windir%\system32\winevt\logs\application.evtx "%userprofile%\documents"
Code:
copy %windir%\system32\winevt\logs\system.evtx "%userprofile%\documents"
Output will be in documents folder. Or you can copy them out to docs folder yourself

msinfo32 - saved as NFO file -
START | type msinfo32 - save w/ default NFO file extension

Vista system health report -
START type perfmon /report - save as HTML file

Zip files limited to 500kb; not sure if multiple zips allowed per post. If too large to attach, please send me PM for my email.

Check and see if any info in WERCON -
START | type wercon - start w/ "Problem History" - you can 2x-click on entry for add'l info

Apologies for my prior reply to explorer crashes - did not notice at time not your post.

Regards. . .
