Angry problems from the start!
Bought cyberpower pc

here it is:

biostar t45hp mobo
intel dual 3.0 e8400
2 gig ram, upgraded to 4 for already since vista 32 bit installed
ati radeon hd3850 video
some hard drive with 500gb
3 fans one side and a rear. then one above rear by power.

Once i rcvd computer, had blue screens refering to atikmdag.sys error for video driver. This has been persistant since i rcvd computer, roughly 4 months now.

then started experiencing something i've never seen, computer would load normal but once used, game or just surfing net. appears to lag horribly, can't control alt del out as its say some strang promp (sorry i know it would help you). either way to hard reboot and get a disk read error, or instert bootable disk promp after bios.

The wierd thing is that eventually the computer runs fine, last weekend i used it all weekend (of course not shutting it down just logging off) but gamed and surfed all i wanted. However, i'll shut down at night and next day the problem arised with the lag.

When this lag and my shut down occurs i will sometimes be able to let computer sit for a while and eventually start windows and it will run great.

solutions i've done:

Memtest86 and it was ok, pulled each ram peice and tested as well.

Have plugged hard drive into different sata ports, which helps for a bit. does not solve

Friend thought heat issue, and i realized the fan by the power supply was blocked by back of desk, i have since removed it and left on floor and ran great for 2 weeks. Temps prior to moving were 32 hdd (max i've seen) and 31 cpu (max). since moved generally around 29 for both max temp. Under load computer feels cold and air blowing out is mild at best, warm from fan by power. i can't see a heat problem. ran rivetuner for gpu and temps under load at 60 or so.

Also, have contact cyberpower and they are completly worthless, takes a week for a response from phone call or email, but they did send me out new hdd which replaced. Otherwise the process of testing would take an forever.

I'm not worried about the blue screen with ati driver at this point.

I'm not the best with computers and basically learning as i've began this endevor 4 months ago.

I feel there is a problem with motherboard. Please any ideas would be great!!! Of course ask any questions, sure some would obviously want better details or specifics on harware so please ask. puter is warranty for year but i can't deal with cyberpower at all anymore, i've given up. The only way i'll call is to tell them to send me a new part since that would take probably a week to do.

Very much appreciate all that input! Thanks you!
