Outlook 2007 Freezing in Vista
Hi, I have a new lenovo thinkpad and I am trying to start Outlook 2007. When I click to open Outlook the screen turns white and there is text at the top that says "Welcome to Outlook Setup Wizard, which will guide you through the process of configuring Outlook 2007." The mouse still moves, but I am unable to click on anything. I end up needing to Ctrl Alt Delete to use the task manager to end the program. I have started it in safe mode, but it still does the same thing. I have tried to open it a bunch of times. Help please!

Dell installs an “Outlookaddin” (by Cyberlink), that causes a similar issue, not sure if Lenovo uses it, check Programs and Features list.

Or go to Start/All Programs/Microsoft Office/Microsoft Office Tools/Microsoft Office Diagnostics and run the diagnostics

Thanks for the idea Mumbodog. I ran the diagnostic and it said that there were no problems.
