major keyboard problem after using ime
Hello I recently used vista’s ime software for keyboard language setup it worked fine until I restarted my computer, now the keyboard is useless, none of the keys work not even during start-up, on my device manager it shows only "HID keyboard" but only when pluged into usb port, if plugged into ps/2 it doesn't show anything other than the default HID keyboard that is used for on-screen keyboard. but if im not mistaken it used to show something different than HID keyboard when it was in the ps/2 port before it screwed up.I have reset the drivers back to default, but that didn’t help, I tried using a couple of different ps/2 and usb keyboards, restoring pc to an early time, and even clearing the cmos, nothing worked. Now I’m completely stuck, can’t even reformatte. If anyone knows anything that could help, plz lemme know =[.

System specs –

So in Windows you can't type anything? What abhout the basic system keys like the Windows button to bring up the start button, or alt+tab?

What does the ime show next to the system tray?
