Vista BsoD - Help!
Hi,
Ive been having BsoD for many months, and ive become so sick of it, that I thought I might as well try and fix it.
First of all, it usually randomly happens. Sometimes when I play a game, sometimes just when I boot, sometime when I shutdown, hell it even happen when I do nothing but browse Internet.
I never been able to intentionally make my computer BsoD until today, when I installed a new game. Everytime I try to start said game, it BsoD.

I wrote down the technical information of the BsoD :
STOP: 0x000000F4 (0X00000003, 0X872F7B18, 0X872F7C64, 0X81E42400)

And here's the log from the event viewer :

Ive had BsoD for as far as I can remember with this computer, and I changed pretty much every single piece of hardware (and changed from XP to Vista) since it started happening. I really have no idea whats causing it, so any help identifying the cause would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks a lot!

Hi Ducktape

Can you please post the .dmp files.
The more .dmp files the better the diagnosis.

Upload minidump files:

The minidump file(s) are located in C:\Windows\minidump. They are dated: month-day-year. Collect the more recent ones into a folder and ZIP (compress) this into a single file. Attach this file to your next post by clicking on 'Manage Attachments' under the posting dialog box, and Uploading the file.

Thanks

I don't have the rar extractor.
If you can ZIP it, then I can help you.

You say you have had many BSODs, then you should have many minidumps.
One dumps is not definitive. Please post three or four more.
You can ZIP them together into one file.

Also, what game did you install and what is your computer configuration?
If you do not know, Belarc in my Signature will tell you.
Please do not post the Belarc Report. It has information you do not want known on the internet.
Just extract your computer component information.

Thanks

Here's the 5 latest minidumps, excluding the one I already uploaded. However, I believe they are all minidumps coming from BsoD caused by my new game.

I have a total of 82 minidumps, so I uploaded a zip file with all of them, in case my newly installed game cause a specific BsoD not related to others. (11 MBs once unzipped)

The game I installed is called The Chronicle of Spellborn (http://spellborn.acclaim.com/). Its a MMO currently in Beta, which I thought could have explained the BsoDs, but after a quick search on google, it seems I am the only one with such problem.

As for my computer component information, here's Belarc Advisor infos :

Thanks for the post. I've looked at the minidumps.

Let's start with making sure the RAM is good.
Click on the Memtest link in my signature.
Follow the directions in the #1 post.
Recommend making the CD on a computer other than the one in question.
If the RAM is bad, a CD make off of it might not be reliable.

Please let me know how the test goes. Good Luck.

PS - For now, I recommend deleting the beta game. Any beta program is capable of causing crashes. You can always reinstall it after we are sure your computer is running well. OK?

Thanks

After looking up on the official game forum, I found out that it was my Firewall which was causing the game to crash, but I still uninstalled the game (as well as the firewall; got another instead).

As for my ram, I already ran a memtest recently, and no error was found. I also checked my HDD with HD Tune, and there's no problem with it either.

Still wondering what's the problem =S
Thanks for your help!
