Question boot bsod
Hi experts,

following scenario: old laptop, new pc. made an image of the old laptop and want to have it on my new pc instead of installing programs etc. i use acronis true image for that, the transfer works fine but then: WINDOWS WONT START. i get a bluescreen with the stop 0x0000007b error. bios is set to default, also ran the recovery tool from vista cd - can't repair. in the comand line i wanted to write a new mbr but i dont know how to get from x:\sources to C:\ where windows is and im unsufre what to do then? as you may have noticed i am certainly no expert here, i would be glad for any help!

need any additional info?

Not going to work, the two machines have different hardware.
You need to try and rebuild the new PC to factory settings.
