Unable to boot Vista. Multi colored flashing symbols
Something pretty drastic has happened.
When I start up my computer now, the bios runs through OK then I get a full screen of little colored rectangles with some flashing weird symbols in them.
Cannot go any further. No chance of safe mode or anything.
I dont think this is due to the video card as I can press F8 and boot into another hard drive which has OSX on it. The mac OS works.
Is it a MBR virus?
Can I get rid of it without a complete format & losing Vista?
I tried the Vista recovery disk but that found no problems
