It appears that I am having the same issue stated in this thread http://forums.techguy.org/windows-nt...-randomly.html

At absolutely random times, my monitor will go dark and I will hear this buzzing noise until the Blue Screen otherwise known as the "Blue Screen of Death" appears for a short time. Then my computer restarts. There is no pattern to when this occurs. Sometimes, I leave my computer on through the night and wake up the next morning to find it fine or vice versa. Other times, I use my computer for half and hour and it happens. The Blue Screen also occurs occasionally when I shut down my computer.

This problem started to occur about 2 weeks ago. I have run several virus scans using several different programs and no problems were found.

As a side note, sometimes when i look something up on www.google.ca and click one of the search results, it will take me to a different search engine showing the results of my search using that engine. I just have to keep going back and trying again until I get the website I'm looking for which normally takes around 2 -3 trys. This issue however is a side matter, as the initial and more important problem was stated first.

Please give me some steps to solve my problems. Thanks
