Exclamation Why can't I delete this odd file type?
I use Windows Vista, and on my USB stick, I had a folder with photos. As I was deleting them since I no longer need them, there were two files added into that folder that were surely not created by me (I'm guessing the system made it).

They had a file type I have never seen before in my life. JG file type (no it's not any form of jpeg file types).

I can't seem to delete this file for some reason. Could anyone help me?

Photo attached of what message I receive when I try to delete them:

PS:
I was also wondering what this file type is and what it's used for, just to cure my curiosity.

Try renaming the file 1st before you try to delete it. Also try saving that file to your desktop & deleting it from there.

hi Lee-BNY please read my last post this is quite likely malware and as such is off limits as per forum rules if you give advice the shields will hunt you down and give you grief. i know you wish to help but anything that is a possible infection must be handled by them
