Question Windows failed to load .......
Windows failed to load as system registry file is missing or corrupt

please please can someone help me! I have had my desktop PC for over a year and it keeps on crashing i really dont have a clue why, this is the latest error message i got today, tried to reboot with upgrade disc as was told this should work and it wont let me go into safe mode or anything, wont let me put back to last known good configuration either....

Is all lost? Will i have to put my pc back to factory settings once again and does anyone know the reason why this is happening?

Having said that my pc is running Sp2 on vista home premium, i know the disc i am using will not have the latest SP on it, or even the first one for that matter, will that make a difference?

WELLLLLLLL, they just may have cleaned it real good.

You will find these cleaners can and ARE very dangerous to ones machines, as they remove entries that are REQUIRED.

Since I do not use them, but several others do, maybe one of them will step forward and help you out in restoring some entries.
