Question Internet wont work on vista
My internet is not working. This includes Wifi and ethernet. It says "Unidentified Network" "Local Only" but I cant even connect to the local network we have. However, when I boot my vista from safe mode, everything works fine. I can access the local network and internet. So, computer gurus, what wrong with this machine. I was just downloading something, and went to take a shower. When I came back, internet was dead.

I dont want to reinstall windows.

thanks

Bond

Good chance the problem is a non-Windows firewall or security suite.

Uninstall the non-Windows firewall(s) or security suite(s). If Norton or McAfee run the respective Removal Tool.
