Computer all of a sudden asking for a password upon login?
Hi all,

Im new to the site and have a problem that just came up today. I've been using Vista for about an year now and this is the first time this has happened. Currently my computer has two users....one Admin and one other user. When I now try to login to the Admin account, I am asked for a password which I never remember setting. The secondary account is still accessible and that is what I am using now. How do I go about fixing this seeing as all the files that are important for me are on the Admin account and I cannot access my Windows mail either.

All help is appreciated!

Since you are new to this forum I will give you a break on bypassing the forum rules. We cannot help you bypass the admin password on your computer. You still should have the account named Administrator which you can only login into in Safe Mode if you are using Vista Home Premium.

Maybe somebody else set a password. Maybe a glitch that we'll never figure out.
