Explorer freezes on startup and computer runs slow.
Hi all.
My problem is that when my computer starts windows explorer freezes and my background turns white. I have to manually close explorer through task manager, by deleting the process, and then starting explorer again. In the first few minutes when started, my computer is acting really slow.

I am unable to do system restore to an earlier point (it says an error happened and it was unsuccessful). I have run kaspersky to delete virus, but that didn't help. I recently installed a program called SpeedFan. I uninstalled that, but it didn't solve the problem.

I'm running out of ideas on what to do, to fix this problem. I would like to avoid a full system recovery..

Is this a problem seen before? Could anyone help ?

I doubt the problem lies around speedfan as many uses it (including me).
You could try scanning your whole computer using malwarebytes' in safemode.

Okay. Do you think that this has something to do with malware/virus?

Malwarebytes worked perfectly!
I did as you told, and ran it in windows safemode.
I rebooted and it worked! Thanks a lot.

Guess I can't do that yet =/. For some reason, it still is weird on startup, it was just for one startup after I ran the scan it was normal. Have anyone ever been in this situation?
