windows explorer in windows 7 locks up
the windows explorer service in windows 7 seems to lock up really bad sometimes just as it did in vista is there anyway to fix this or am i going to have to wait for a service pack from microsoft?

thanks i just want to get this fixed it can be quite the hassle

This can be a hardware problem, not a problem with Windows 7, run a hardware diagnostic, you can usually find one for your PC on the manufacturers website, or there may be on on a diagnostic partition on the hard drive, consult your owners manual.

thats a good point because my computer came with vista and it used to do the same thing
